Foolish folk believe science can genetically modify foods and alter weather and not destroy us all. Silly notion. Their egos lead them to believe they are God and can do anything HE can do in spite of the fact that they have never created anything out of pure energy. That they can grow life from life that already exists proves nothing.

They believe they can alter nature, kill most of us off through intentional depopulation, and then restore the health of the planet.

THEY ARE WRONG!!!

Monsanto, the company that developed Agent Orange – a chemical that left a legacy of miscarriages, deformed children and devastating health issues – is one of numerous corporations that are genetically altering our foods by intentionally adding toxins into the food which we then eat. Apparently that seems like a good idea to them.

Many are actively objecting and trying to force companies that package food to label food these Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) so that they can avoid them. Some are calling these Frankenfoods.

Even worse, they have created a Terminator Gene that keeps plants from reproducing. The purpose of this gene is to prevent farmers from saving seeds to plant in subsequent years. The danger is that this trait could cross over to other plant species – basically sterilizing the plants so that after the current year there can be no more plants grown from seeds for that type of plant. How many plant species can we afford to lose before mass starvation ensues?

Farmers who do NOT buy or plant GMO seed are being sued by Monsanto because their crops are being contaminated. There is no way they can prevent the natural spread by the wind or birds from the fields of other farmers, yet they are being held responsible by the courts and ordered to actually pay Monsanto for damage done to themselves. Now organic farmers are suing Monsanto hoping to survive what they call “Monsanto’s predatory practices”.

WE ALL NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE FOOD RIGHTS ISSUES!

Most people trust government, churches who are not living by Biblical principles (or even contradict them), big brands and major corporations in spite of overwhelming evidence of their wrongdoing. Pray to determine what God wishes you to do. If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus make that your highest priority. Nothing else you can do is likely to make a big difference in the eventual outcome.

Those churches attract thinkers and musicians; however, the New Thought philosophies attempt to leave out the importance of Jesus and often replaces references to God with the word love instead.

At least one of their most influential leaders knows Jesus and attracts people seeking Truth to her church. The New Thought philosophies are another in a long line of paths that get us ALMOST to God but leave out what is most important.

That they try to avoid Jesus became obvious to me because I knew a member who knew and loved Jesus and wrote and performed music dedicated to Him. He was asked not to include His name when performing and he shared with me as he sat down after performing a composition he wrote for God that in his passion he had allowed sweet Jesus to slip from his lips.

That man is one of the most pure of heart I have ever met yet he does not realize it. I believe that God uses all paths – incorrect or not – to call us to Him. Following every incorrect philosophy are those who hear Him and will move beyond the false teachings.

Other paths designed to mislead us contain mostly Biblical truths in disguise – omitting the most important part – so that they seem to be true. I did not come to know Jesus by being born into a family that knew Him or raised in a church or by being pure of heart.

I came to know Him by continually seeking wisdom down each path until it became obvious it did not work. Eventually I realized that there is only one way to know the real Truth because the evil one has had all had this time to create the most convincing disinformation and propaganda to keep us from God.

There is no human way to discern precisely what is true and what is lies. Only by our personal relationship with Jesus can we know what to do and when to do it. He is the only one worthy of our worship and the only way to the Father.

Once I would have argued that The Holy Bible – being translations of translations done by man – could not be accurate as I had studied German until I was fluent and I knew how misleading direct translations are (made even more obvious now with machine translations widely available online).

Now I know that those human translators of the Bible were divinely guided and when we know Jesus our interpretations are too – provided we are careful to listen and confirm what we think it says and not be mislead by our own inaccurate beliefs and what society has conditioned us to believe.

The Bible contains all we need to know about life, what has happened in the past and what will be. We can converse with Jesus directly, ask and be answered – after we have completely and voluntarily by free choice surrendered our will to God and accepted that He always sees what we can not.

I know that even if what is happening around us and what He asks may not make sense to me in the moment, that it is always part of His plan. Everything in my life has lead me to what He has called on me to do.

I know that even many whose hearts belong to God who share His Word have not thought to question their conditioning and therefore perpetuate incorrect human ideas but that does not matter because what the purpose of this life is to decide one thing:

Will we surrender our will freely by choice to God, know Him through a personal relationship with Jesus – accepting the Holy Spirit as our Guide and be with Him forever or will we choose selfishness instead with all the consequences of that choice.

We are either God’s or we are not. It is purely our choice to make as He gave us free will and offered to forgive us and allow us to be with Him forever.

It is through intellect (in trying to come up with a way to live in a perfect community in this life) that I realized that heaven could not be heaven if it were not based on two things:

1. free will (as we instinctively rebel at being controlled by others)
2. selflessness (because only one selfish person would destroy the peace in any community).

The solution is beautiful: surrender our free will to our perfect Creator whose will we (or at least some of us) do not have any desire to rebel against and allow Him to lead us.

That made all else clear including why He must judge how we will be judged and bring only those who are selfless into heaven.

The selfish – which the majority still are even though they may profess to be Christians – belong to the original rebel and always will. They can never be trusted. They have made their choices and locked in their consequences.

I work for God and He pays me through people. Since I have freely and completely surrendered my free will to Him I have peace. While insanity reigns all around me and I clearly see Facism marching over the United States I trust that whatever may happen in my life is in His hands because I gave him my life.

If for any reason someone who does not believe in God or who considers themselves an atheist or agnostic has read this far, I leave you with this one question: Explain how Israel could have possibly survived Israel’s War of Independence (1947-1949) to establish the State of Israel?

The only logical explanation is that Israel was Protected Miraculously by God.

The November edition of National Geographic magazine (NG) posed the question “Was Darwin Wrong?” on its front cover. I highly recommend this post in reply to their article explaining in depth why Darwin was wrong about evolution using his own writings to prove it.

Here is the most applicable excerpt (and I recommend reading the entire article):

“There can be no doubt that in order to provide a realistic response to the question “Was Darwin Wrong?” one needs to look at what Darwin actually said and to compare this to modern scientific facts. In his book The Origin of Species, in which he unveiled his theory of evolution, Darwin provided a very important criterion by which to test his theory. So concrete is that criterion that in Darwin’s own words it could “absolutely break down” the theory. Darwin wrote:

“If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed, which could not possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications, my theory would absolutely break down.” 2

Darwin maintained that organs evolved during a gradual process. Thinking of this imaginary process in reverse, it appears that Darwin assumed that these organs possessed reducibility. However, advances made in the field of biochemistry, especially over the last 40 years, have revealed that the cell possesses a superior complexity, the details of which were unknown in Darwin’s time, for which reason it was equated to a “black box,” and that certain structures within the cell actually possess the feature of “irreducible complexity.”

Beyond that, it is simply illogical to believe that the complexities of every living mammal and especially humans could ever have “evolved” and in fact there is now scientific proof that it didn’t.

Evolutionists argue that life spontaneously emerged from random bits.

No one has ever shown that it is possible to create anything complex by blowing it up or crashing it and IMHO they never will because it is just simple logic that no matter how many times you reproduce an explosion it will never “create” anything complex like a car or a television or a computer much less something infinitely more advanced as a human.

Logic dictates the existance of a creator (this is an EXCELLENT link).

Many have pondered evolution versus creationism or  God or Evolution and each of us must reach our own conclusion. In the video below, Dr. Hugh Ross PhD. Lectures on “Creation as Science”:

Many who believe in God (by any of the names given to the ONE true God) and many who call themselves Christians have not clearly made a decision. Either scientists are correct about the age of the earth or the Bible is but not both.

Here is an interesting but incorrect theory that attempts to reconcile the two very different ideas about the age of the earth.

This better post points out that we can either trust the Biblical timeline or man’s. We can’t have it both ways.

How do scientists prove that carbon dating is accurate? It is based on ASSUMPTIONS about when specific events occurred. If the assumptions are inaccurate the dating will be too. Many argue that science proves the Biblical timeline and that carbon dating supports a young earth.

Human “knowledge” is based on what others before us wrote or said. Few question what is widely accepted or published in a book or magazine and that is a major source of inaccurate information.

Many of us will look at a book that cites three sources for the same facts from three different periods of time and think, that must be true – three different authors included it in their book. What non-authors don’t realize is that the second author quoted the first author and third author quoted them both. There are NOT three independent sources for that “fact” – there is only one person’s opinion.

What if the first author was wrong?

Archaeology and science are both proving the Bible is factual. There are television channels where I live that have excellent series on what has been discovered and the actual history of the founders of the U.S. and their views on Christianity (and it is FAR from the current propaganda would have us believe).

Many are confusing societal beliefs, religious beliefs, government laws and the influences exerted by the media (and all major media is controlled by the same few elite) with the TRUTH. They are NOT the truth.

For me, I know God. In fact, I work for God and he provides for me through clients. I live in total peace in spite of seeing where the world is going. If I read anything years ago that would reveal to me what I now know to be Truth I must not have been ready to understand it. Every time I think of one particular blogger friend I am reminded of the movie based on Stephen King’s book The Stand which for reasons I can not imagine is not available at Netflix. In it a young man is one of many called to an elderly woman. He says to her “I don’t believe in God” and she laughs and replies, “He believes in you”.

If you are a selfless person who sees more than most and struggle with how hopeless it all seems listen very carefully. God is calling you. He explains how the Cherokee knew Jesus by the names used for Him in the Old Testament and that knowledge came directly from Unayklanahi, the one Creator of all things. I noticed the similarity between words in Sanskrit and Cherokee and this history mentions that as well.

We are warned in Revelation 3:14-19 that lukewarm Christians are NOT saved:

• And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and [that] the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Revelation 3:14-19 (KJV)

Only those whose eyes and heart are full of the Holy Spirit will notice that you can not be a true Christian by going through the motions without making Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit absolutely first in your life. That means before your job, before your concerns over money, before your family, before your possessions, before entertainment – FIRST BEFORE EVERYTHING – WITHOUT EXCEPTION!

I am not alone in asking “Are Christian Churches Lukewarm?” Brother Mike provided this excellent definition of a Lukewarm Christian: “Being lukewarm is a lip service Christian. They go to church, may even give money, but God is not first in their life. They conduct their life as if there is not God.”

Another writer even has a new name for it: Goldilocks Christianity. Here is your challenge as a reader: be able to read all opinions, finding the truth and leaving behind the errors of interpretation. Many otherwise excellent writers and preachers have never questioned the non-Biblical beliefs they’ve been raised in so they mingle those with the Biblical truths.

I believe this is why Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” Without Jesus we can never know the Truth. Even with him, we must be aware enough to ASK HIM. Few question the beliefs they’ve been taught so many believe untruths even though they have Jesus.

• To benefit from their insights yet not be misled we must learn to listen and read with Spiritual Discernment.

I will be linking to other sites when they provide great insight even though, in many cases, these same sites will be writing many things that are not Biblical and are not true. Often they are very passionate about their beliefs – both the true and the misleading. Only those who place Jesus first in their lives will know – and only if they question their assumptions.

Remember that “normal” is however you’ve been raised or whatever you’ve been taught by schools, the media, and society. Being widely accepted does NOT make something true. Specific interpretations of the Bible are not necessarily correct simply because they are widely accepted.  Churches and individuals who use the Bible to argue secular beliefs would benefit us all by sticking to what is most important.

And what is that? Why are we here?

God created the physical world to experience, learn, and grow. He created us – with free choice – to do the same. I believe the purpose of life is to realize that the very best use of that free choice is to surrender to God totally and completely.

We can either surrender to God or continue to “play God” – and look at the mess we have made of our lives and environment by thinking we know enough to “play God”.

God is not “in control” of this World. He told us this. He is not waging war, or starving us, or forcing us to submit to the evils all around us. Once we surrender out lives, thoughts, and actions to Him we will be guided in our path. We will be provided for physically. We may be protected or it may be our calling to endure for His sake.

One thing we will have is peace in our hearts and of our minds regardless of what is going on all around us. And most important of all, we will have eternity with Him in a far better world where life is worth living; unlike this end game we are experiencing now.

How many deaths will it take till he knows

While the most likely meaning of these lyrics related to the civil rights movement, it is equally true about the increasing death toll in the “War on Drugs”. How long will we keep our heads in the sand while innocent people are murdered in their homes by those who – theoretically at least – are supposed to be “protecting” us? Please read on so that you may at least understand.

Dennis McBride, a casualty in this drug war himself, has accumulated true life horror stories of people who would be flippantly dismissed as “collateral damage“.  I sincerely hope that every person reading this will take the time to read at least a few of the tragic tales told at The Drug fLaws: Murder.

Here is just one quote from Dennis’ enormous files:

“The list of drug war victims goes on and on. I am talking about kids, old ladies, completely innocent people, shot and killed not by gangs, not by robbers or drug dealers, not by schoolyard shooters or kids playing with guns, but by those sworn to protect our lives.”~ Sheriff Bill Masters

We as a society have allowed these travesties to become increasingly common. Many encourage such behavior because they have been convinced that there are only two kinds of people: the good and the bad. As soon as someone else does anything society has decided to label as “bad” many believe they deserve whatever they get.

There are myriad problems with this. Let’s start with the most obvious, though. Many of the people being murdered by law enforcement are NOT the “bad” people. They were totally and completely innocent!

If you think this is rare visit this page of Drug War Victims. Among them are an 8 year old girl, a Baptist Missionary and her 7 month old daughter, an 84 yo bedridden women sick with pneumonia, and countless individuals who were shot in their homes when police raided the wrong address!

Not enough yet? Do a search for the phrase “murdered by law enforcement” (with the quotes around it). A search tonight on Google returns 402 results that contain that specific phrase in them. While some of those murdered may not be innocent many were. And even those that were guilty might have done something minor. Death should not be their sentence.

Amnesty International says Police Brutality in the U.S. is “Systematic and Widespread”. In their 1998 report Rights for All they said:

“There is a widespread and persistent problem of police brutality across the USA. Thousands of individual complaints about police abuse are reported each year and local authorities pay out millions of dollars to victims in damages after lawsuits. Police officers have beaten and shot unresisting suspects; they have misused batons, chemical sprays and electro-shock weapons; they have injured or killed people by placing them in dangerous restraint holds.”

Ten years later and this abuse is more widespread and escalating. Searching YouTube for +”police” +”excessive force” turns up 238 videos. People’s doors are being broken down by armed, masked adrenaline-fed authorities who abuse and arrest innocent people who are often not charged. If you think YOUR door can’t be next you didn’t read the stories at The Drug fLaws: Murder.

This has been happening for years – actually decades. Even though we’ve seen it all on television our entire lives we have done nothing to stop it so it is getting worse and worse. If you think these incidents embarrass the authorities you’re not paying attention. They brag about what is happening on television shows all the time. Watch the news, or any Cops show, or many movies and you’ll see examples like these:

• A woman tazed even though she pulled over promptly and complied with every order. Her “crime”? Her drivers’ license had expired. She had NO criminal history – NONE! And they put this on television so they obviously want us to know about it.
• Cooperative citizens being handled roughly or even violently
• Cars being stopped and searched without cause

Sometimes the comments on articles and blogs make the best reading. Consider this quote deep in the comments on the tazing incident during John Kerry’s speech at the University of Florida: “The most striking thing was that the police officers responded to our righteous indignation by asserting that they “are not operating under the constitution” anymore, rather “under Homeland Security.”

The point of this post is that we simply must realize that although we never really had freedom, the average American has a lot less liberty now than any but slaves have ever had in the history of the United States of America. We have always only had the Illusion of Freedom and even that is slipping away.

As Chief Joseph said, “this country, this government, was born and founded on violence.” The main difference today is that white “middle class” America is now being treated by Law Enforcement the same way that minorities have always been treated – guilty until proven innocent.

How many things are we taught make us awful that are NOT Biblically based? What if much of what we believe to be sin is simply self-inflicted nonsense? “I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.”

Our personal walk with Jesus can reveal that what Lucifer wants us to believe proves we are bad is not even a failing in the first place.

Before we judge others or ourselves, perhaps we should ask what the Bible has to say on the subject. If it is silent THAT would be a good thing to ask Jesus about.

• Show me where it says Thou Shalt Not Use Plants God created because someone who wishes to control you says so but using dangerous chemicals is perfectly fine because Big Pharma makes lots of money off of them?
• Show me where it says Thou Shalt Consume Poisonous Food because everyone else does. You wouldn’t want to actually follow our Lord’s teachings instead of what we’ve been taught by those who worship money, would you?
• Show me where it says Thou Shalt Bet Your Life trusting in Big Pharma instead of God.
• Show me where it says Thou Shalt Trust in Politicians Claiming to be Christians when by their fruits it is obvious that they are not!
• Show me where it says Thou Shalt Endanger Thy Daughters’ Health because Big Brother says it is best for them and they’ll get you if you don’t comply!
• Show me where it says Thou Shalt Close Thy Eyes and Trust in a Government that would Vaccinate Your Children at Gunpoint against their will – without even the farce of passing a law first.
• I know where it says Thou Shalt Not Kill and I also know there were many wars in the Bible; however, I just can not see Jesus condoning the Myth of the “Just” War.

What if God’s will for me is different than it is for you is different than it is for our neighbor? If you have any exposure to Bible stories at all surely you realize God has commanded His disciples to do things that were considered “wrong” or “illegal” in their time. Many of them willingly DIED choosing what God led them to do INSTEAD of what human law decreed!

Shouldn’t we be listening to God on these subjects instead of Caesar?
